WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Teachers from South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, The USA, The UK and Ireland.  You must have a neutral accent (very important) and excellent grammar.

WORKING HOURS:

  • Daily unrestricted

  • Peak hours: March to October 11:00 to 15:00 UK times

  • Peak hours: October to March 10:00 to 14:00 UK times

  • You have either a fixed or flexible schedule.

BUSIEST MONTHS:

  • English exams:  March, April, September, October.

  • Summer holidays:  July and August.

  • Beginning of term:  September and October.

  • Christmas:  December

QUIETEST TIMES:

  • Chinese New Year

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • No Bachelors Degree Required.

  • 1 year of teaching experience.

ABOUT THE CLASSES:

*From September we are launching a teen and adult course so the student dynamics will change

English: 25 – 30 minutes

Teach children, teens or adults at any level. These lessons focus on developing skills within the English language through immersive lessons that engage and motivate students. You can choose which levels and ages you are suited to.

Phonics:  25 – 30 minutes

Teach phonics to young learners. The phonics course has been tailored to EAL learning and teaches basic vocabulary at the same time through fun and engaging materials with our own standardised actions that give the students consistency between lessons.

Exam Preparation: 25 – 30 minutes

Prepare student for English exams such as Cambridge English exams, TOEFL and IELTS.  These lessons focus on preparing students for their English exams.  They can be based on a coursebook or on past papers and my focus on all skills or specific ones based on the student’s needs.

Academic Subject Mentoring: 55 minutes – 1 hour

Help students progress with their learning at school with specialised subject tutoring. These lessons are aimed at students who attend an international school or who are looking to attend a school abroad. They can be for primary, secondary, GCSE, A-Level, IB or even university students and can focus on any subject they need support with.

PAYMENT:

Salary Explained:

  1. Written Skills Lab (1 hour) : £18 to £25

  2. English Oral Practise (30 min):  €4.50 – €6.25 with TEFL Qualification

  3. University Consultation (1 hour) : £10 to £15

  4. Academic Tuition (1 hour) : £15 to £20

  5. Taster sessions for any of the above services (30 mins) : From £4.50

POTENTIAL BONUS:

Successful Taster bonuses paid monthly at £20 each plus various others based on availability, performance, progression and feedback.

Weekly bonuses of £20 to £30 based on availability and teaching quality.
